Tonganoxie football to meet Schlagle in Week 9 playoff round

THS (5-3) is the No. 5 seed in the Class 4A East Bracket, while Schlagle is the No. 12 seed (2-6). The winner will advance to regionals to take on No. 4 Fort Scott (5-3) or No. 13 Coffeyville (2-6) on Nov. 8 at the home of the higher-seeded team.
The Chieftains and Stallions have one common opponent this season: Bonner Springs. Tonganoxie defeated BSHS, 45-0, in Week 5, while the Kansas City, Kan., school fell to Bonner, 28-18, this past Friday in the regular season finale.
