Tonganoxie police joining Taking Down DUI traffic enforcement campaign

Beginning around Monday and continuing through Jan. 2, the Tonganoxie Police Department will join the Kansas Highway Patrol in the Taking Down DUI traffic enforcement campaign. Various other Kansas law enforcement agencies will also participate in this initiative.
The New Year’s time frame outranks most other holidays as it pertains to vehicle crashes; specifically, more crashes result from impaired drivers who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Line up a ride with a sober driver or pre-plan other safe transportation before you go out.
