Tonganoxie youths hop to TRC Easter Egg Hunt

Youths gather up eggs during Saturday’s Tonganoxie Recreation Commission Easter Egg Hunt. THS Art Club students also painted faces and American Legion members helped with egg races. These photos were taken at VFW Park, but additional hunts and activities also took place at Chieftain Park.Families gathered on a picturesque Saturday at Chieftain Park and VFW Park for this year’s Tonganoxie Recreation Commission Easter Egg Hunt.
There also was face painting, egg races and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Children went to either park based on where in the alphabet their last names started.
