LCHS is hosting the special event 1-3 p.m. Saturday at its facility, 100 W. Gilman Road in Lansing. It’s a project that was proposed and executed by Tonganoxie High School FFA (Future Farmers of America) students. Adoptions are 25% off that day for qualified adopters, and there’s a goodie bag for each adoptee.

The public is invited to bring their own pooches for a dog wash with a suggested donation of $20.

The FFA crew has collected some exciting gifts from community supporters so there will be lots of raffles for fun prizes.
