Cold weather doesn’t deter spectators, entries at Tonganoxie St. Patrick’s Parade

The Lynch Real Estate float makes its way along the parade route at the 35th annual St. Patrick's Parade on Saturday, March 11, 2023.Parade participants and spectators braved the frigid conditions Saturday to celebrate the 35th annual St. Patrick’s Parade.
Drizzle fell as parade entries made their way along the parade route on Fourth Street from east to west in the downtown district.
Winners of this year’s best overall float was Lynch Real Estate, while the “Himpel Clan” won best family float. Grand Leprechaun Diane Bretthauer rode on the Himpel float.
The best club entry went to the Boy Scouts.
