The first market of the season will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Tonganoxie Public Library parking lot. 217 E. Fourth St.

Several vendors are back, with new ones also joining the lineup at the market.

Some of the vendors expected to be there are Next to Nature Farms, Daniel’s BBQ Sauce (which includes salsas, pickles, sauces and more), Country Road Farms, Thompson’s Home Grown Produce, R&R Acres and It’s a Sweet Treat Day Bakery. The bakery has a food trailer now, but the business had a storefront in downtown Tonganoxie a few years ago.

The market will be 5-8 p.m. Thursdays into October.
