No classes for Tonganoxie, Genesis Schools, McLouth for Tuesday
The extreme cold stranglehold Mother Nature has on the area continues for another night and has forced cancellation of Tuesday classes in several school districts.
Tonganoxie USD 464 will not have classes Tuesday, nor will Genesis Schools in Tonganoxie or McLouth USD 342.
All Leavenworth County public schools have called off classes for Tuesday.
The Tonganoxie Invitational Tournament potentially will continue Tuesday, but could also be canceled later Tuesday depending on the weather.
The Tonganoxie tournament started Monday afternoon, but the McLouth Invitational, which also was to start Monday, has been postponed. It now will be played Thursday through Saturday.
