Local youths stage productions of ‘Peter Pan’ in Tonganoxie

Brents’ remarks were made moments before Saturday’s youth theater production of “Peter Pan” at the Tonganoxie Performing Arts Center on the Tonganoxie High School campus.

The THS graduate now is director of the summer theater for the first time after serving as an assistant in recent years.
Youths staged the classic on Thursday and Friday nights.
Julian Hannah played the role of Peter Pan, while Annalise Fouts was Wendy. Elijah Hannah was John and Connor Huntington was Michael.

Paisley Shriner played the role of Tinker Bell for the local production, while Savannah Julius-Dunlap was Captain Hook. Audrey Patterson was See and Ari Finley and Aubrey Schockley were Mr. and Mrs. Darling, respectively.
River Brumley was Slightly, Lilly Fouts was Tootles, Nora Eccles was Curly and Stevie Joy Mays played Nibs.
Twins 1 and 2 were Natalie Rogers and Marilee Long, while Reagan McNeely was Tiger Lily, Nevaeh Shriner was Starkey and Sophia Brassfield was Jane.

Jordan Gardner was the Crocodile, Mavis Eckstein was Nana the Dog and Orson Daniel was Peter’s Shadow.
The Pirate Crew was Jackson Brassfield, Orson Daniel, Llewyn Daniel, Adalynn Dexter, Grayson Gardner , Peyton Herman, Cora Huntington, Nora Johnson, Elizabeth King, Wynnifred King, Tinley Shriner, Adley Soetaert, Fern Town and Logan White.

Reagan McNeely created the drawings for the program as well. Assistants were Taylor Brents, Josh Duvall, Mary Kate Dial and Lachlan Bond.
Admission for this year’s production was nonperishable items to be donated to Good Shepherd Thrift Shop and Food Bank.
