Tonganoxie USD 464 Hall of Fame inductees announced for homecoming ceremony

Plaques honoring past Tonganoxie USD 464 Education Foundation inductees grace the north wall of the lobby area near the Tonganoxie Performing Arts Center on the Tonganoxie High School campus. A handful of plaques will be added soon as this year’s class will be inducted during Friday’s homecoming football game against Turner.The Tonganoxie USD 464 Education Foundation will induct its 13th class Hall of Fame honorees Oct. 4 as part of homecoming festivities.
Shari Curry will be receiving the Alumni Achievement Award, while Chris Weller and the late Marilyn Weller are this year’s education inductees.
There will be a ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 4 starting with appetizers at 304 Venue, 304 E. Fourth St. Hall of Fame tributes will begin at 5 p.m.
Plaque presentations will take place during halftime of the THS football game.
