Tonganoxie in winter storm warning
A winter storm is expected to drop between 6 to 13 inches of snow and sleet and up to 0.2 of an inch of ice on the area this weekend.
Tonganoxie is included in a winter storm warning from 6 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Monday.
The National Weather Service’s warning also includes wind gusts of as high as 35 mph.
Other area residents could experience inclement weather earlier. Lawrence and McLouth are included in a watch that starts at 9 a.m. Saturday.
