CLOSINGS, CANCELLATIONS: Tonganoxie City Council postponement among cancellations due to Winter Storm Blair

Tonganoxie City Council Chambers are moving to the former public library at Third and Bury streets. In-person meetings also available for viewing on a city YouTube Channel could start with the Jan. 19 regular meeting.Winter Storm Blair has produced ice and large amounts of snow on the area,w which has led to various cancellations.Tonganoxie USD 464 students still are on winter break, so the storm hasn’t affected class cancellations. Students are set to resume classes Wednesday. Here’s a look at cancellations so far:
MONDAY
Genesis Schools have no classes or activities
Tonganoxie Public Library is closed
Tonganoxie City Hall is closed
Honey Creek Disposal services will be delayed one day this week
McLouth USD 342 classes and activities are canceled
Tonganoxie City Council’s regular meeting for Monday has been canceled
TUESDAY
McLouth USD 342 classes activities are canceled
Genesis Schools classes and activities are canceled
Tonganoxie USD 464 buildings and schools are closed
