Green scene: St. Pat’s Parade is Saturday in Tonganoxie

This year’s Tonganoxie St. Patrick’s Parade will be 11 a.m. Saturday in downtown Tonganoxie.
Tonganoxie Business Association again is organizing the event, which is in its 37th year. Those wanting to participate in the parade can download a parade participant form on TBA’s Facebook page. The form can be found in parade event post.
Charles Van Middlesworth is this year’s Grand Leprechaun.
The Chapter AT-PEO corned beef and cabbage and Irish stew meal will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m., takeout only, at Tonganoxie United Methodist Church, 328 E. Fourth St.
This year’s St. Patrick’s T-shirts also can be purchased at Downtown Drugstore for $15.
