Human trafficking seminar to be offered Thursday in Tonganoxie
Tonganoxie has eclipsed a population of 5,500, according to estimates recently released. The next official county will come with the 2020 U.S. Census.
A training presentation on identifying human trafficking will be later next week.
The event will be 6-9 p.m. March 20 at Tonganoxie Christian Church, 205 Washington St.
Dan Nash, founder of the Human Trafficking Training Center, will lead the training session.
The presentation will discuss what human trafficking is and help people recognize human trafficking identifiers.
Nash, a retired Missouri State Trooper in the human trafficking unit, will also cover how to report human trafficking and more.
