Leavenworth woman convicted in February shooting

The Leavenworth County Justice Center at 601 S. Third St., LeavenworthNicole L. Price, 23, of Leavenworth, has been convicted of one count of attempted aggravated battery and one count of aggravated battery after pleading guilty during a hearing Monday.
The charges stem from a shooting incident that occurred Feb. 20, 2026, according to a release from the office of Leavenworth County Attorney Todd Thompson
Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 4, 2026.
“Our office and our community takes gun violence seriously,” Thompson said. “They are not toys.”
