McLouth Invitational Basketball Tournament to start Thursday
The McLouth Invitational Basketball Tournament will take place Thursday through Saturday.
School officials postponed games originally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday due to inclement weather. All games now will start Thursday, with boys quarterfinal games to be played in the Gold Gymnasium and girls quarterfinal games in the Purple Gymnasium.
All championship bracket games will be played Friday in the Gold Gymnasium and consolation bracket games inside the Purple Gymnasium.
The girls seventh- and fifth-place games will be played Saturday in the Purple Gymnasium, while the rest of the medal round games will take place in the Gold Gymnasium.
Games will start at 3:45 p.m. Thursday and Friday, with the last game of the day to start around 8:15 p.m. each night.
Games Saturday start at 10 a.m., with the last game, the boys finals, to start at 5:30 p.m.
On the boys side, the quarterfinals lineup will be No. 1 Horton (8-1) vs. No. 8 Riverside (1-6) at 3:45 p.m., No. 4 Car Paravel (4-3) vs. No. 5 McLouth (2-5) at 5:15 p.m., No. 3 Maranatha Academy (4-2) vs. No. 6 Pleasant Ridge at 6:45 p.m. and No. 2 Maur Hill (4-2) vs. No. 7 Bishop Ward (1-5) at 8:15 p.m.
On the girls side, quarterfinals games are No. 1 Riverside (7-0) vs. No. 8 McLouth at 3:45 p.m., No. 4 Pleasant Ridge vs. No. 5 Horton (2-7) at 5:15 p.m., No. 2 Maur Hill (6-0) vs. No. 7 Bishop Ward (0-6) at 6:45 p.m. and No. 3 Maranatha Academy (5-1) vs. No. 6 Cair Paravel at 8:15 p.m.
