The No. 1 seed and host of the Class 2-1A regional, MHS will take on No. 5 Doniphan West (10-9) at 3 p.m. today at Patterson Field in McLouth.

No. 2 Valley Falls (15-6) takes on No. 6 Wathena-Riverside (11-12) in the other regional semifinal game. That game will start 25 minutes after the MHS-Doniphan West game. Semifinal winners will then pay for the regional championship 25 minutes after the Valley Falls-Riverside game.

The Bulldogs are 23-2 heading into the semifinals.
