The annual Fall Pancake Feed will be 6:30-10 a.m., Saturday at the McLouth Fire Station, 104 W. Lucy St.

It’s sponsored by Jefferson County District No. 9 Fire Department.

Veterans Day parade is next week

The oldest (106 years) Veterans Day observance in the nation and the largest parade west of the Mississippi River begins at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in historic downtown Leavenworth.

The theme is “Honoring America’s Veterans.” TAPS will play at 11 a.m.
