Doc and Olive McCracken

Doc and Olive McCracken, Tonganoxie, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 18, in Kansas City, Kan., at a surprise party given by their children.

The couple were married Dec. 28, 1949, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Pope, in Kansas City, Kan.

The couple has four children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
