Mrs. Dorene Trent1923-1999

Mrs. Dorene Trent of Kansas City, Kan., died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999 at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. She was 76.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Oct. 15 at the Alden-Harrington Chapel, Bonner Springs, Kan. Burial was in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14 at the chapel.

Mrs. Trent was born Jan. 7, 1923 in Topeka, Kan. She was a member of La Sertoma Club, Kansas City, Kan., and enjoyed bowling and painting.

She is survived by her husband of more than 57 years, Hardy Trent, of the home; two sons, Robert Hardy Trent and his wife, Susan of Basehor, Kan., and Joe Trent and his wife, Lori, of Edwardsville, Kan; two daughters, Connie Sue and her husband, James Cooney of Perry, Kan., and Sandra Lynn Schmelzle of Ft. Worth, Texas; a brother, Earl and his wife, Bonnie Henry of Topeka; and two sisters, Eileen Lewis of Garfield, Ark. And Loris Comella, Topeka.

She leaves 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was the daughter of George Wittenry and Sarah Belle Weaver, Topeka.
