Sachse-Crouse
Amy Lynn Sachse and Kelly Lee Crouse were married Oct. 2, 1999, at St. Joseph of the Valley Church near Leavenworth, with the Rev. David Rabe officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Sue Sachse, Easton. She graduated from Pleasant Ridge High School and attended Kansas City Kansas Community College and Kansas State University. She works at the Douglas County sheriff’s department.
The groom is the son of Daniel and Barbara Crouse, McLouth. He graduated from McLouth High School. He served four years with the U.S. Air Force and now is a member of the Air National Guard. He also is employed by Ratheon Aerospace, Topeka, where he is an aircraft mechanic.
Megan Sachse was maid of honor. Gretchen Sachse, Jaime Wendel and Lori Mock were bridesmaids. Faith Crouse was flower girl. Charles “Bud” Beard was best man. Groomsmen were Shannon Crouse, Bill Stapleton and Mike Forge. Derek Robb was ringbearer.
Ushers were Josh Sheppard and Eddie Kesinger. Candle-lighters were Danny and Derrick Crouse. Altar boys and girls were John Sachse, Amanda Sachse and Andrew Cross.
Program attendants were Sara Stonecipher and April Portillo. Seed attendants were Sarah Brown and Jennifer Vineyard. Elisabeth Walker attended the guestbook. Lectors were Janie Heim and Wendy Applegate. Katie Sheppard attended the gift table, and Rita Heim and Beth Maddox attended the cake table. Hostesses were Kim Sachse, Mari Judson, Laura Cross, Rita Heim, Kathy Sheppard, Sharon Walker, Liz Kesinger and Karen Schumate. Mary Sullivan was soloist, and Kenny Edmonds was organist.
A reception was held at St. Joseph of the Valley Church Hall.
The couple live in McLouth.
