Wilma June Ashley

Graveside services for Wilma June Ashley, 79, Tonganoxie, were Saturday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Kan., with the Rev. Ben Saathoff officiating.

Mrs. Ashley died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born June 11, 1921, in Lawrence, the daughter of Charles and Minnie (Reetz) Hill.

She moved to Tonganoxie in 1985 from Kansas City, Kan. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Christian Church, Kansas City, Kan. On March 2, 1938, she married Arthur V. Ashley in Olathe. He died in 1984.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandy K. Goepfert, Tonganoxie, a sister, Glenda Vigola, Lawrence, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
