Obituary: Thelma Elizabeth Reed

Services for Thelma Elizabeth Reed, 92, Tulsa, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie, with Roger Ambrose officiating. Burial will be in Mount Sidney Cemetery in Linwood.

Mrs. Reed, a former Linwood resident, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at Maple Wood Nursing Center in Tulsa. She was born Sept. 14, 1908 in LaJuanta, Colo., the daughter of George S. and Clara (Miller) Holland.

She was a member of the Happy Hour Club of Linwood and the senior citizens group of Tonganoxie.

She married Chester Franklin Reed on June 5, 1929, in Leavenworth. He died on April 11, 1967.

Survivors include a son, Franklin LaVerne Reed, Tulsa; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
