Mylinda Jane Wensel

Services for Mylinda Jane Wensel, 83, Tonganoxie, will be at 10 a.m. today, July 11, 2001, at Quisenberry Chapel, Tonganoxie, with the Rev. Ben Saathoff officiating. Burial will be in Hubble Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.

Mrs. Wensel died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at Kindred Hospital, Kansas City, Mo. She was born Dec. 20, 1917, in Graceville, Mo., the youngest of six children, the daughter of Delbert and Offie (Hogg) West.

She was a seamstress and a homemaker. She married Dean. E. Wensel on Dec. 9, 1937, in Unionville, Mo.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Dale W. Wensel, Tonganoxie; four daughters, Doris Storlien, Mulvane, Jeraldean Cooper and Shirley Waters, both of Tonganoxie, and Arlene Jacobs, Springdale, Ark.; a sister, Luella Haner, Corydon, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; two stepgranddaughters; 18 great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

A granddaughter, three bothers and a sister preceded her in death.
