Tonganoxie man dies Saturday after K-7 traffic accident
A Tonganoxie man died Saturday afternoon following an accident on Kansas Highway 7.
Clarence R. “Bob” Eason, 71, died after the accident, which occurred about 1:45 p.m. south of Leavenworth Road. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Eason was driving south on K-7 when his 1998 Mazda left the road, traveled down the median and struck a guard rail. The vehicle rolled onto its left side. According to information provided by the highway patrol, Eason was alert after the accident, but then died because of a prior medical condition.
