The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, but the game has been changed because 3-6 inches are expected to fall in the area.

The team will leave Tonganoxie High School at 1 p.m.

Athletics director John Lee said the trip is roughly 75 miles.

Tonganoxie (11-10) is the No. 5 seed, while Lansing (16-5) is the No. 1 seed.

If the Chieftains win, they’re scheduled to play at 7:30 p.m. Saturday against the Hiawatha-Atchison winner.

A loss against Lansing would end Tonganoxie’s season.
