Tae kwon do students nab more trophies
Tonganoxie tae kwon do students once again brought home top trophies Nov. 2 at the Mid-America Tae Kwon Do Championships in St. Joseph, Mo.
Colten Weaver led the team with a first-place finish in sparring and second-place mark in form. Jess Breshears fared the same, while Daniel Parker and Josh Parker both took first in sparring.
Joe Beach was the only student from Rex Hutton’s academy to take first in form at the tournament. He also took third in sparring.
Other top finishers included Gary Parker, who took third in sparring, Brandon Hubbard, fourth in form and second in sparring and Jake Owens, fourth in form and second in sparring.
