Services for Calvin D. Kelley, 48, Tonganoxie, were Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at Meyers Family Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kan. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Kan.
Mr. Kelley died Oct. 20, 2002, at the Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. He was born Oct. 6, 1954, in Kansas City, Kan.
He was raised on a farm in Louisburg and graduated in 1972 from Louisburg High School. He and his parents moved to Basehor. He was employed as a silk screen producer at Central States Emblem Company. He was also employed part time at the Crazy Horse Trading Company.
He participated in many charity rides, such as City Union Mission Run, Bikers for Babies and others. He also collected for many charity events for those in need.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon, of the home; a son, Calvin D. Kelley Jr., and a daughter, Jessica R. Kelley, both of the Basehor area; a stepson, Jonathan Dyers, Topeka; a step-daughter, Lorice V. Dyerson, Bonner Springs; his parents Harry and Audrey Kelley, Basehor; and two brothers, Harry Kelley Jr., Joplin, Mo., and Carl Kelley, Antioch, Calif.
