Obituary: Theron K. “Kenny” Eades III
Services for Theron K. “Kenny” Eades III, 23, McLouth, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa with the Rev. Joe Masqua officiating. Burial will be in Fowler Cemetery north of McLouth.
Mr. Eades died early Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., from injuries he received in a one-vehicle accident northwest of McLouth.
He was born Aug. 27, 1979, at Winchester, the son of Theron K. “Sonny” and Sharon Sue Larrison Eades. He had lived in the Lawrence, Topeka and McLouth area all his life.
Mr. Eades was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. Most recently, he had worked in the McLouth oil fields.
He attended schools in Lawrence, Topeka and McLouth.
Survivors include his father Theron “Sonny” Eades Jr., McLouth; his mother and stepfather, Sharon S. and Leon Dodds, McLouth; five sisters, Sue Nichols, Kansas City, Kan., Cathy Marshall, Ozawkie, Linda Eason, McLouth, Jackie Ottensmeier, McLouth, and Judy Jamison, Perry; and his maternal grandmother, Cecil Larrison, Osklaoosa.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Kenny Eades Memorial, sent in care of Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa, 66066
