Melanie Sue Maher, Easton, and Nathan James Maxwell, Leavenworth, were married Jan. 26, 2002, at the Main Post Chapel at Fort Leavenworth, with the Rev. Dean Meyers officiating. A reception was held at Frontier Conference Center at Fort Leavenworth.

The bride is the daughter of Roger and Linda Maher, Easton, and the groom is the son of Steve and Teri Maxwell, Leavenworth.

Jennifer Maher was maid of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Rachel Maher, Olivia Jansen, Sarah Maxwell, Grace Maher and Anna Maher.

Christopher Maxwell was best man. Groomsmen were Simon Maher, Noah Maher, Joseph Maxwell, Isaiah Maher and John Maxwell.

May Maxwell was flower girl, and Jesse Maxwell was ringbearer.

The bride is a graduate of the Joshua Academy, and the groom is a graduate of Flowing Streams Christian School. He is network administrator for Communication Concepts.

The couple live in Leavenworth.
