To the editor:

I am currently in Germany waiting for my husband, Thomas Innis, to return from his deployment.

I’ve read the articles that have been published concerning my husband and other members of our military, and I want to thank you. I am very proud of my husband and all of the other members of our military and I think they are doing a wonderful job over there. From the contact that I have had with my husband and some friends that I have deployed over there as well, they all said that the support from home is helping them get through this.

I would also like to thank the members of the Tonganoxie community for all of their support. It means a lot to everyone involved in this war in Iraq. I know how much it means to my husband and that makes me feel better. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Please say a prayer with me to bring our troops home safely.
