Bulldogs drop two to Pleasant Ridge

The McLouth High baseball team lost two difficult games last Thursday to Pleasant Ridge.

In game one, the Bulldogs dropped an 8-4 decision.

Travis Steffey went 2-for-2 with 2 RBI and a double. Clayton Garrow went 2-for-4, while Matt Nitzche was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a home run.

Chris Hager picked up the win in the first game.

In game two, Pleasant Ridge overpowered the Bulldogs, 16-5, in seven innings. In the second game, Cody Strange went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a double, while Garrow again went 2-for-4. He had 2 RBI and a double. Matt Nitzche equaled his first game performance with a 2-for-3 outing. He had an RBI and a stolen base as well.

The Bulldogs are next in action on Tuesday at Atchison County. McLouth is 1-5 on the season.
