Obituary: Violet Mae Richardson

Services for Violet Mae Richardson, 84, McLouth, were Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie. Burial was in McLouth Cemetery in McLouth.

Mrs. Richardson died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence. She was born Aug. 7, 1919, in St. Joseph, Mo., the daughter of Perry and Iris Elizabeth (Hearn) Toothman.

She was an inspector 21 years for General Motors Fairfax Plant in Kansas City, Kan. She married Lloyd Richardson in Oklahoma. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Lloyd Dennis Richardson, Kansas City, Kan.; four daughters, Shirley Kerns, St. Joseph, Mo., Brenda Carter, Dunnegan, Mo., Sharon Simmons, Humansville, Mo., and Deborah Pycior, Overland Park; a brother, Ed Toothman, Independence, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
