Obituary: Allen Earl Hehn
Services for Allen Earl Hehn, 86, McLouth, were Saturday at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa. A private burial service was held at McLouth Cemetery.
Mr. Hehn died at his home in McLouth, and was found early last Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003.
He was born May 31, 1916, in McLouth, the son of Valentine and Helen J. Edmonds Hehn. He was a lifelong resident of the McLouth area.
He was a truck driver for many years for the Martin-Marietta Rock Quarries, working out of the Tonganoxie quarry and the Troy quarry. He retired in1982.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Williams-Kesinger American Legion Post 393 in McLouth. He was a 1933 graduate of McLouth High School.
He is survived by a brother, Forast Hehn, Lawrence.
