Obituary: Gertrude Olivette Wyrick

Services for Gertrude Olivette Wyrick, 79, Tonganoxie, were Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Wyrick was born Sept. 3, 1923, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of William and Gladys (Baker) Thomas. She married Albert O. Wyrick on Dec. 25, 1941, in Kansas City, Kan. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include eight sons, Albert O. Wyrick Jr., Kansas City, Kan., Billy Wyrick, Edgerton, James Wyrick, Shiner, Texas, Richard Wyrick, Langdon, N.D., John Wyrick, Independence, Mo., Floyd Wyrick, Ronald Wyrick and Thomas Wyrick, all of Eudora; seven daughters, Dixie Lattin, De Soto; Doris Eastland, Kansas City, Kan., Sharon Beggs, Landgon, N.D., Virginia Wyrick, Lawrence, Bonnie Jacobs, Tonganoxie, Margie Wheeler, Independence, Mo., and Cindy Ramdorsingh, Tonganoxie; two brothers, James Thomas, Hutchinson, and Charles Thomas, Bonner Springs; one sister, Margie Sowers, Kansas City, Kan.; 34 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
