Obituary: Rachael Ann Nave

Services for Rachael Ann Nave, 18, McLouth, were Friday, March 14, 2003, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Leavenworth. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Tonganoxie.

Miss Nave died March 10, 2003, at the home of friends in Lansing.

She was born July 28, 1984, in Independence, Mo., the daughter of Joseph O. and Cheryl Ann Caldwell Nave.

She had lived in rural McLouth since 1989.

Miss Nave had attended public schools in McLouth, and she attended Oskaloosa High School and Schlagle High School in Kansas City, Kan., where she participated in basketball.

She also was a Red Cross certified life guard. She was a member of the Leavenworth ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include her parents, Joseph and Cheryl Nave, McLouth; a brother, Michael Nave, Las Vegas; two sisters, Christina Nave and Hannah Nave, of the home; a paternal grandmother, Roma Nave, Tonganoxie; maternal grandparents, Alan and Joyce Caldwell, Overland Park; and a maternal great-grandmother, Grace Daneker, Overland Park.

A brother, Ethan J. Nave, died Jan. 23, 2003.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Rachael A. Nave Memorial Fund, which may be sent in care of Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa, 66066.
