Obituary: James S. Engle

Private services are planned for James S. Engle, 77, Tonganoxie, who died Friday, May 2, 2003, at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. Cremation is planned.

Mr. Engle was born Jan. 19, 1926, in Topeka. A World War II Navy veteran, Mr. Engle formerly lived in Kansas City, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine Engle, of the home; and two sons, Stephen Engle, Winchester, and Stuart Engle, Tonganoxie.

Charter Funerals, Shawnee Mission, handled arrangements.
