Obituary: Donald E. Larson

An inurnment service for Donald E. Larison, 67, Winchester, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, in Fowler Cemetery, rural McLouth.

Mr. Larison died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at Hickory Pointe Care Home in Oskaloosa. He was born Jan. 6, 1937, in McLouth, the son of Harry and Ceicl (Carey) Larison.

Mr. Larison was raised in McLouth, where he also attended schools. He was a farmer who worked for Kmart Distribution Center and Kansas University.

He moved to Tonganoxie, and seven years ago he moved to Winchester.

He married Shirley Rothwell. She preceded him in death. Two children, Donald E. Larison and Genia Larison, were killed in a fire in McLouth.

Survivors include Ceicl Larison, Oskaloosa; two daughters, Glenda Huff, Fairplay, Mo., and Paula Crook, Tonganoxie; a sister, Sharon Dodd, McLouth; two brothers, George Larison, Oskaloosa, and Duane Larison, McLouth; and 13 grandchildren.
