The team, which is a Tonganoxie squad with primarily older high school players and a few college-aged players, has two more doubleheaders scheduled for this summer.

Tonganoxie’s squad will play Sunday at Atchison. Those games are scheduled to start at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. On Tuesday, Tonganoxie will play Royal Valley at home. The games will be played at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The zone tournament begins July 17 and state starts July 27.

Heading into games last weekend at Chanute’s Fourth of July weekend tournament, the squad was 10-7.
