Obituary: Ezra W. Warren

Graveside services for former Tonganoxie resident Ezra W. Warren, 93, Lawrence, were Monday, March 6, 2006, at Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.

Mr. Warren, Lawrence, died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1913, in Enid, Okla., the son of George Thomas and Phebe Elzira (Pontizius) Warren.

He was a millwright for Farmland Co-operative Industries, Lawrence, from 1954 to 1984. He also farmed. He married Florence M. (Northern) Asher in 1952 in Lecompton. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Gary Asher, Lawrence, and Wesley N. Warren Sr., Swansea, Mass.; two daughters, Nancy Cox, Rocky Comfort, Mo., and Judy Vermette, Lecompton; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
