Obituary: Frank L. Bateson

Services for Frank L. Bateson, 76, Basehor, will be at 10:30 a.m. today, May 24, 2006, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Basehor, where friends may call one hour before service.

Mr. Bateson died Monday, May 22, 2006, at his home. He was born March 26, 1930, in Lawrence, the son of Benjamin and Ruth (Dawson) Bateson.

He was a Korean War veteran and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. He retired as a welder and mechanic for Scherer Truck Equipment Co., Parkville, Mo.

On April 1, 1951, he married Rose Fantasia in Watertown, Mass. She survives of the home.
