Tonganoxie cross country teams bound for state
For the second consecutive year, the Tonganoxie High boys and girls cross country teams are headed to the state cross country meet as full teams.
Both Chieftain squads finished third at a Class 4A regional Saturday in Marysville.
Christy Weller was Tonganoxie’s top runner, finishing sixth in the girls race, while Chris Price had Tonganoxie’s top finish on the boys side, taking eighth, on a cold and chilly overcast day at the Marysville Country Club.
