Obituary: Barbie Cain

Services for Barbie Cain, 9, McLouth, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2006, at McLouth United Methodist Church.

Barbie died Monday, Sept. 4, 2006, in a vehicle accident in Atchison County. She was born Nov. 24, 1996, in Lawrence, the daughter of Richard Cain and Cindy Cain, both of McLouth.

She was a fourth-grade student at McLouth Elementary School and was a member of McLouth United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her parents; three sisters, Tiffany Smith, Bethany Cain and Kylee Cain, all of McLouth; three brothers, Robert Smith, Ryan Smith and Christopher Cain, all of McLouth; her grandparents George and Betty Laster, Ottawa, and Kenny and Irene Cain, Axtell; and her great-grandmother, Alice Cain, Axtel.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Shriners St. Louis Hospital for Children or to McLouth United Methodist Church, sent in care of Barnett Funeral Home, 820 Liberty St., Oskaloosa 66066.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at the church.
