Obituary: Robert Lee Hansen

Services for Robert Lee Hansen, 92, Tonganoxie, were Monday, Feb. 19, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Burial was in McLouth Cemetery, McLouth.

Mr. Hansen died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, in Lawrence.

He was born Sept. 10, 1914, in Tonganoxie, the son of Peter and Mary (Bryan) Hansen. He was a farmhand and worked 14 years for Jefferson County Highway Department. On Sept. 1, 1940, he married Dorothy Beatty. She died in 2006.

Survivors include a son, William Hansen, McLouth; two daughters, Esther McKinsey and Shirley Gleason, both of Lawrence; a sister, Esther Adolphson, Tahlequah, Okla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
