Obituary: Edward “Ed” William Grey
Mass of Christian Burial for Edward “Ed” William Grey, 40, of Kansas City, Mo., will be at 10:30 a.m. today, May 2, 2007, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 94th Street and State Avenue, Kansas City, Kan. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Grey died Friday, April 27, 2007.
He was born July 15, 1966, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Claude S. and Martha Grey. He was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area.
Mr. Grey was an Army veteran, serving as an artillery specialist in Desert Storm and in South Korea.
He worked in the transportation business as a logistics specialist for Wagner Industries the past two years, and for Am-Col for the previous five years.
A member of the American Quarter Horse Association, he had a passion for horses. He trained and broke them, rode in rodeos and competed in horse events such as penning and sorting.
Survivors include his mother, Martha Grey, Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Brooke L. Grey, Kansas City, Kan., and Madeline N. Grey, Lawson, Mo.; and three brothers, Chad M., Kansas City, Mo.; Phillip A., Kansas City, Kan., and Claude C., Kearney, Mo.
