Helen Maurine Lamb

Services for Helen Maurine Lamb, 94, Lawrence, were Saturday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie. Burial was at Hubbel Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Lamb died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Pioneer Ridge Nursing Center in Lawrence.

She was born June 19, 1913, in Hartford, the daughter of Wendel P. and Florence Quinlan.

Mrs. Lamb was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Lawrence.

She married Orville Lamb. He died in 1971.

Survivors include a son, Larry Orville Lamb, Livermore, Calif.; a daughter, Carolyn Sue Lasher, Lawrence; two sisters, Vivian Miller, Lawrence, and Jean Mohler, Big Springs, Texas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church of Lawrence or Hospice Care in Douglas County, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie, 66086.
