Ladies are invited for Fun and Fellowship at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Countryside Baptist Church (10328 Wellman Road)
“Parents As Teachers” Christmas Party playgroup will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at McLouth’s Community Center. Come and meet Santa Claus, ride the reindeer, decorate Christmas cookies, and enjoy fun activities and crafts. For more information, contact parent educator Jennifer Klamm: (913) 845-1519. Parents As Teachers is a fun, free, educational program for any family with children 0 – 3 years of age.
Elementary students (kindergarten through second grade) will present their Music Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in the Elementary School Purple Gym.
“Parents As Teachers Playgroup” featuring “December Holiday Fun” will meet at the McLouth Library / Community Center from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6.
The public is invited to a special Benefit Concert for Heidi Karn-Barker at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at First Baptist Church of McLouth. Heidi will have a double lung transplant within the next few months, and will be required to stay in St. Louis for about six months. A special love offering will be taken during the concert to help cover Heidi and Brad’s living expenses.
First Baptist Church of McLouth will play host to this year’s Community Advent Service at p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2. This service marks the beginning of the season of Advent, a time of preparation of our hearts, as well as our world, for the coming of Christ, which we celebrate on Christmas Day. Everyones invited to attend.
