KVL Football Report: Week Seven

By Chris Wristen - | Oct 13, 2007

The Kaw Valley League football standings are not quite final because a few KVL schools still will meet in district play, but the league championship has been finalized.

Perry-Lecompton’s 34-13 victory over Tonganoxie on Friday night forced a three-way pile-up atop the standings so Perry, Lansing and Bonner Springs will share the title. All three schools have just one league loss and have no more KVL games on the slate this season.

All of the league schools are now in district play, and the two most impressive wins of the week likely belong to Lansing, which rallied late to beat Shawnee Heights, 14-11, and Mill Valley, which held on for a thrilling 31-27 defeat of Bishop Miege.
