Obituary: Pauline Rose
Services for Pauline Rose, 86, of Kansas City, Kan., will be at noon today, Oct. 31, at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kan. Private entombment will follow at a later date in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Mrs. Rose died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at Hospice House, Kansas City, Mo.
She was born in 1921 in Cameron, Mo., the daughter of Denver and Ruth (Bing) Hale. She moved to Kansas City in 1947.
Mrs. Rose was of the Christian faith and was employed by Capitol Federal for 13 years.
After her retirement, she traveled throughout the world, coordinating trips through Classical Tours where she worked as a sales associate.
Her husband of 62 years, John Perry Rose died earlier.
Survivors include three daughters, Paula Delich, Lee’s Summit, Mo., Mary Hales, Merriam, and Terri Flanigan, Las Vegas; a brother, Francis G. Hale, Linwood; four sisters, Birdye O’Neil, Colorado Springs, Colo., Grace Guastello and Naomi Lackey, both of Independence, Mo., and Betty Kanan, Basehor; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
