Marine Corps Cpl. Joseph P. Stimach, son of Stephen P. Stimach of Tonganoxie, recently was promoted to his current rank while serving with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron One, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, Okinawa, Japan.
Stimach was promoted based on sustained superior job performance and proficiency in his designated specialty.
Stimach is a 2001 graduate of Tonganoxie High School and joined the Marine Corps in July 2007.
