The event will feature several types of activities. Those scheduled for the outdoor event include: entertainment, food, music and demonstrations for guests of all ages.

The free event also will include a wheelchair basketball demonstration at noon. Participating in the demonstration in Kansas City, Kan., will be the Lawrence Wheelhawks and the Kansas City Thunder.

DAZL Entertainment, a nationally known professional touring troupe, begins its show at 1 p.m.

The event will conclude at 2 p.m.
